About Pro-Spanish

meetingAt Pro-Spanish, we understand the vital importance of effectively communicating with the fastest growing segment of our population, and that is especially important for those professionals that have the most contact with the Hispanic community. Traditional language classes are unfocused, overly-complicated and tend to go on-and-on. But, at Pro-Spanish, we understand the time constraints that our students face not only in their professional lives, but in their personal lives as well. That’s why we offer intensive and express courses in the workplace, courses that are designed to enhance our students’ skills quickly in a productive and enjoyable way through classes that are focused exclusively on basic conversation skills and proficiency in Spanish for medical, legal and hospitality professionals.

It's a Multilingual World

multi-lingual

Language is not just important for communication and knowledge but for understanding cultures and opening up access to differing value systems in the world. Using multiple languages in daily life is a normal practice in the modern world: the presence of different linguistic groups in the same country creates an enormous necessity for becoming bilingual or multilingual in order to communicate with them.  Easy access to different communication systems shortens the distance between continents and people and facilitates interaction among international communities. Foreign language fluency is also a significant asset for job seekers and financial success in the modern global economy.

The world is rapidly becoming multilingual, and Spanish is one of the key languages of the future. If you speak Spanish, you can communicate with almost 500 million people in more than 21 countries in South-, Central- and North America, the Caribbean Islands, Africa and Europe.

29 million US residents above the age of 5 speak Spanish at home. The 64 million Hispanics currently living in the USA make up 20% of the total population.  Hispanic consumers are the fastest-growing market segment in North America.  Their population in the USA has grown by more than 60% in just one decade and their buying power is  expected to exceed $1 trillion by 2010.

Learning another language has a positive effect on your child's intellectual growth and mental development. Give your child the opportunity to learn another language, increase his or her verbal capacity and improve academic performance. According to the College Entrance Examination Board, "[multilingual] students also perform better in math and logic skills than children with just one language."

Learning a new language opens the door to other cultures and helps a child understand and appreciate people from other countries.
