Opening Night Rained Out!

What can we say? 50 mph winds, torrential downpours and even hail in places! Not a great night for a Night Market, huh? We would like to thank all those who braved the elements and came out to see us last night, and we do apologize for the cancellation of just about everything, including the dragon dance, the fire dance, and even the Tsingtao Beer Garden. We do plan to do it all over again tonight, and hope that the weather is a little more cooperative, although this is Seattle... Multicultural Night Market starts this Friday!!

The Othello Public Market welcomes the Washington Night Market to Seattle this Friday and Saturday for the first of a series of four weekends of nighttime events to celebrate Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dragon! The Night Market opens at 5pm this Friday with a traditional Dragon Dance for good luck, so don't be late! We will also host a beer garden with a nice selection of domestic and import beer and wine.

Black History Month Celebration at OPM!

Stop by this Saturday and Sunday for a full day's worth of Black History, and then come back later on in the evening to celebrate the Year of the Dragon at our Asian Night Market festival! Regular Market hours are 10am–5pm, after which their will be a $2 donation towards entertainment for our night market festival!
